Although hairstyling is something that is more readily associated with girls, boys have a great number of variety and choice as well these days. Of course most hairstyles for boys will feature short hair.
One popular short haircut style for boys is the buzz cut. This is a super short cut that is designed more for utility that appearance. The hairstyle helps keep guys cool so it is especially suited for athletic type boys who are outdoors a lot.





The basic and classic hair style for boys to wear the hair in short layers at the crown, with hair tapering down towards the neck on either sides. This neat and trim look is also a breeze to maintain. This hairstyle is very easy to maintain. Another great hair style for boys is the Caesar cut, as worn by the Roman emperor. In this cut, short hair is layered all over the head along with fringes in the front. This is another short hairstyle that can be easily maintained.
Finally, another classic is the bowl cut. It is called that because a boy wearing a bowl cut could easily be mistaken for a boy wearing just a bowl on the top of his head. In this cut, the hair can be slightly longer near the crown, and cropped at the base of the head.
