Haircut Styles: Bye, Bye Bob Hairstyle

Haircut Styles Summer 2008 presents Bye, Bye Bob Hairstyle
Sorry girls, that super-cute bob hairstyle that sparked a hair-fashion movement last year is no longer »in style«, hair experts say. Millions and millions of women can thank pop singer Victoria Beckham for the short, asymmetrical bob hairstyle which quickly become one of the most desired hairstyles on the planet. But as with all celebrity trends, the bob hairstyle has run its course - at least for this season! Along with Victoria Beckham, fellow hairstyle trend setters like Jessica Alba, Katie Holmes, and pop star Rihanna have shown some fresh hairstyles.Rihanna for example shortened her bob hairstyle, which is known in the hair industry as "the Pageboy cut," the same thing did Katie Holmes. Jessica Alba kept the same length of hair, but transformed the locks into more modern waves, which are considered very fashionable this summer.

And, just in time for hot summer months, hair gurus say textured hair will become a must this summer. The spring cuts will gradually become summer dos because of their manageability and versatility. You should let your natural texture show and it really doesn't matter whether your hair is straight, wavy or curly, just forget about the bob!

Haircut Styles: Wedding Hair Practical Tips For Spring and Summer 2008

Haircut Styles presents Wedding Hair Practical Tips For Spring and Summer 2008
Now days, sleek up or down hairstyles are popular with brides who want a modern looking wedding hair. If you want to lend a bit of romance then you should add a sparkling tiara as an accent. If your hair is curly or wavy but you want to wear it straight, then you should have your hair washed and blown out by your hair stylist the day before the wedding.

Sleep with your hair tied back with a soft cloth, so you don’t make any marks in it, and sleep on a satin pillowcase. The day of the wedding, dry-set it on jumbo, self-stick rollers, spraying each section with a little shaping spray. To create a sleek up or down style, first tease the crown a little to add volume. Spray with styling spray and smooth the top back. Then brush one side of the hair back, smooth to the head, and pin it in the back to secure. Brush the other side of the hair back, twist (almost like you were doing a French twist, only with the hair downward) and pin along the edge to secure. To prevent fly-aways, spray alittle styling spray on your hairbrush before smoothing hair. To add brilliant shine, spray very lightly with a weightless shine spray, holding the can at least eight inches from the head.
